This week the City Council unanimously voted to appoint Mark Rodriguez to fill the vacant council seat. We had 22 applicants in total and 4 of those Council interviewed before reaching the decision to vote on appointing Mr. Rodriguez. Special Budget Work Session on Monday, June 14th

The new lighted airport entrance sign proposals were opened on June 9, 2021, and High Desert Signs was awarded the bid at $32,000, which was under budget. Here is the design. I think this will be a big improvement from the current one on Hwy. 90.

That's all from me today. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me at Carolyn.Umphrey@SierraVistaAZ.gov with any comments or questions you may have.
